update lollipop to marshmallow

I have a LG Premier LTE which seems to have been re-branded as the LG K10 that's using straightalk through Tracfone (I got it at Walmart as a striaghtalk phone).

It's running lollipop 5.1.1 and I want to update it to marshmallow 6.0. How can I go about to do this? I can't seem to find any information on this.

It's unlikely for Straight Talk or Tracfone to update their own phones. If you go to Settings>About Phone>System Updates, and there's no update available, then you'd have to look into rooting the phone and looking for a custom ROM designed specifically for that phone. The forums at XDA-developers.com is a good resource.
