Update notification gone

[Android Central Question]

I'm using Moto x play.i got N update notification.i heard doing factory reset then installing new software gives good expirence I done factory reset after reset I didn't getting any update notification, help me

Welcome to the forums. System updates are usually released in batches and now you need to wait until your phone is included in the next one.

About the factory, it's not that necessary and most times just wiping the cache partition is enough. If you still prefer doing a factory reset, next time wait until the system update is installed and then reset.
