Update offered OTA by Samsung

Yesterday evening I was offered an update by Samsung, I refused to download this update after the 4.3 jelly bean issues and reading that kitkat for Samsung Stock RAM needs 2 gb RAM I am curious has anyone else been offered this?

If so what was it about?

Where did you read that Samsung's KitKat ROM needs 2 GB of RAM?

I saw a blurb on Android Central (about a week ago?) that there was a small (35MB?) update rolling out to some customers. Just bug fixes IIRC.

I am forgot where I read it but that was the reason why Samsung was planning to not upgrade the S3 international. From what I know kitkat was intended to run on 512 Mb RAM.

Thank for telling me about the update. I will now update and tell you his of it is bug fixes or something else
