Well, it's just over 24 hours before launch. I signed up for advanced notification via e-mail on Verizon's 4G LTE page and on the Thunder Tracker page where it says "Enter your email and know before it hits" soon after each page launched but haven't received anything yet. They haven't even updated the Thunder Tracker or 4G LTE page to say anything other than "Comiing soon". Just think of all the people who signed up for that but aren't fanatic about following forums, Twitter, and press releases like we are and are trusting Verizon that signing up for the e-mail list will give them advance warning. They still would have no idea it was launching tomorrow. Even Verizon's home page, which was updated to highlight the ThunderBolt after the press release, doesn't give the date.

I'm just glad I have the folks here to help keep me in loop. Perhaps Verizon should outsource their product marketing to Android Central? Then everyone that cared would know as soon as information was available.

*Check e-mail one last time before posting.* Still nothing.

You mean that Verizon Wireless has no sense of how to market and communicate with their end customers? Shocking. What surprises me though, is that the home page doesn't reference the fact that it's coming tomorrow. The e-mail, I had zero confidence in.

However, it's possible that they didn't send out the e-mail so they didn't have a crush of orders, etc. on day one.

I haven't received an e-mail either but I'm not surprised at all. On another note, the newscasters today reported that the TBolt will be released tomorrow as the first LTE phone from Verizon. No picture like they do when they report on Apple stuff, but at least it got a mention.

I only saw Xoom commercials last night. A couple of the HTC TB commercials, but no VZW TB commericals. They might be keeping low profile till Thursday and then launch thier PR blitz. They may also wait till next week to start too. Again I get the feeling we are beta testers. Just to see if any serious problems arise over the weekend.

If this is the case it is ok with me. Hopefully that will mean no lines Thursday morning.

I didn't get my Xoom e-mail till 1 1/2 weeks after the launch.

If you think about this, I think it's brilliant the way VZW is handling the e-mail notifications. Let the Android fans and geeky people buy the TB first, then when sales are lagging, release the e-mails to the general public and advertise the heck out of the phone. Sounds like a slow, semi-silent launch to me!

It's probably to avoid a supply problem (like the Dinc horrors that were experienced).

You still have people on Verizon Wireless's Fan Page on Facebook asking about the release of the Thunderbolt! They have no freaking clue, This is not good for them but might help us. So we dont have to wait inline forever getting one :)

I signed up for Bolt/LTE email notices too and nothing. However, I recieved plenty of pre-release emails for the iPhone from VZW & Apple. I guess Apple doesn't let Verizon slack off on their devices. ;)

Still no email for me either. Hopefully that means that they won't be sold out by the time I get around to take my lunch tomorrow and sneak to a store to get one.

Lol a few weeks ago someone mentioned they had just gotten the email from Big Red announcing the fruit phone. Clearly their marketing machine needs some work.
