Update today

Anyone else get an update today? Didn't list anything major in the log. I'm downloading it now. Maybe it fixes the chromecast bug though.

Well, it's not the 4.4.4 update, that's for sure. Stupid, useless widgets on the My Magazine side still don't auto update. So far I haven't seen anything different.

What Chromecast bug? Well, I don't own a Chromecast, so I wouldn't know. Although last night I tried mirroring the ABC app onto my TV and it crashed when playing the video saying the TV wasn't supported. Weird.

Anytime I've tried casting to my Chromecast it's crashed and said com.system.androidui or something like that has failed. And that sucks that they don't auto update. I haven't found anything new yet. Gonna check the Chromecast thing when I get home

Only thing I noticed since the update, it removed, from the multi window, recent apps I downloaded. I had to uninstall and reinstall them.

I currently cast to a Netgear PTV-3000 that is connected to my TV. Works great.

i see no difference after the update... they probably had the changes so its easier to run ads etc..

I haven't seen anything different either. I'm still seeing horrible (OK, not horrible, but enough to be noticeable) audio lag when mirroring my tablet on a Samsung TV.

I will have to check but I don't think I have any. I usually an pretty sensitive to lip sync differences.

Well, it's weird. If I mirror a video from my tablet (like from a video file), the audio syncs perfectly. But when mirroring a streaming app, like HBO Go, then the audio is completely out of sync.
