update?

Hi all. I just woke to my phone updating. said it was updating android? Took about 5 minutes but it's still on 4.4.4? I was half asleep so I didn't see what updated? Anyone have any idea? I see nothing different?

There are usually minor updates periodically. If you know what your baseband version was (Settings/General/About device and look for thee baseband info), you may find that it's changed, but the version of Android would be the same. It could even be some mods needed to allow you to update to Lollipop that won't do anything yet - they'll just allow the phone to update when it's sent to you. (They did that at least once on the Note 3.)

My Android version is still 4.4.2. I have not gotten any notification about updating. So I wonder how often an updating notification will be sent in general.

What model do you have? I didn't think the Note 4 was set up with anything other than 4.4.4

Yep I had 4.4.4 and it's still 4.4.4. It was an android update but who knows....maybe just a small fix for something?
