Update

I installed an update last week and now my battery is draining faster. I still like this phone but hate that the battery would drain faster after an update. Any suggestions?

Try clearing the phone's cache from Recovery Mode. That usually helps when stuff like this happens after an update, especially if it was a major one (like going to a newer OS version).

Also check your battery usage to see if any apps are acting up and try clearing those specific apps' cache. You can also try to clear Google Play Services Data and Cache, forcing it to re-update that as sometimes it also causes issues with battery drain.
