Any word on 2.3 coming to the echo? Kyocera is in the tablet market already and they don't even realize it. This phone is a great companion to my Xoom. I want gingerbread! I doubt we will ever see Icecream Sandwhich on echo but here is hoping we do.

Kyocera apparently promised 2.3 later this year. Hopefully their superior system drivers weren't a fluke, and any upgrade will be as reliable.

Hopefully Gingerbread not coming Via OTA, so all the "8507 error code" phones can update to Gingerbread via flashing mode
