Updated to froyo with Automatic OTA, internet not working

So I got my notice this morning about the new update, i installed it. now my internet is not working. When i open the browser, it says "Sorry, forceclosed". I already tried resetting it many times, still not working. does anyone know a better solution to "take it to verizon" hahhaa
i really don't want to go into the store with all the 2.2 madness in there.

I received my OTA update this afternoon and at first things were fine but then I noticed I couldn't connect to the internet, Facebook,.etc. Tried turning the phone on/off, still didn't work. I did a battery pull and that seemed to work. Although tonight I turned my phone off while charging and turned it back on. Again same issue (couldn't connect) turned off the phone, turned on again and its working right now. Might call VZW tomorrow and ask what's ul. Cause I never had an issue before.

Check all your basic settings in wireless and networks(among other things). It toggles a whole bunch of the basic settings to some new 'default'. Something might of been switched around or unchecked.

have you tried programming it again? call *228, then option 1. phone will restart after it is done automatically.

I have this issue. After I pull the battery it works fine for about 6 to 8 hours then it's out again... starting to get concerned. I love the phone, but my heaviest usage of it is the internet and apps that pull information off the internet... Hopefully someone finds a solution.

Just got off the phone with Verizon... lots of people calling in with problems. I cant believe this phone is this bad after doing the update.
The weather widget doesnt locate my location and the handcent text messaging is basically useless with how slow it is and how bad it lags. So disappointed.

Did a wipe and reinstalled everything. It was a complete pain in the a** but the tech at a corp store told me that sometimes when you update there are "remnants" of the old version that are left behind and conflict. Seems to be working for now, if it goes out again you will all hear me screaming an F-bomb...
