How has Asus been with updates?

The 5 and 5z has been getting a lot of updates since they've been released at least 10 from what I've been reading on forums and reviews. Their phones from last year have been updated to Oreo as well. I know they had a bad rep in the past from previous phones but seems like they been updating their phones within the last couple years pretty often

It should get pie pretty quickly because it has Treble on it. Just depends on how fast they are working on it. With Treble they should push the updates out faster without hold up from the manufacturer. I'm interested to see how long they take. The Asus was one of the first manufacturers to push Oreo out to their previous phones so with the Zenfone 5 being their new flagship I'm expecting the same kind of turn around
