Updating to Android v 5.1

... using rooted Nexus 7 (2012) with Android v 5.0.2.... is it necessary to unroot before updating to v 5.1? rooting wasn't a smooth process... would like to avoid re-root if possible..tx

Not sure, but use Nexus Root Toolkit from Wugfresh next time, make is easy
