So I updated to DJ05 and now my phone is not connecting to Verizon. I followed the instructions here but I think I made a mistake and must have wiped out everything.

http://digi.stfuthxbye.net/stuff/Android/Fascinate/DJO5.html

I was getting a failed signature message so I used Odin to flash CWMRecovery but I don't see it in my apps list so I can't get into it.

My baseband says DJ05 now. I also can't connect to the market anymore. I made a ROM backup as well as a Titanium backup of apps and data but so far I can't do anything with it yet.

When I go into "Mobile Networks" I get an "Insert SIM card to access network services"

So I don't know where to go at this point... Any suggestions?

Please tell me I didn't brick it...

ok so a couple questions,,,,

did you first flash the modem using Odin?
did you do the 3 part method or did you do the odin full package method?

Edit,,,, ok did you flash the modem and then just restart? or did you flash the modem, then went to recovery and flashed the rom and kernel before restarting

First flashed the modem, then tried to boot straight into recovery to apply the update.zip which was the DJ05 Clean ROM. Got a signature failed error...searched...found I needed to flash Clockwork in Odin so I did that but I think I booted up the phone in the meantime.

I checked and saw DJ05 was on the baseband so I figured I woulg get Clockwork in the market. That's when I realized that I couldn't connect to anything..Maps and Internet browsing worked but no phone.

I found the Clockwork update.zip so I was able to get into that and I'm now trying to restore.

edit: so to be clear I didn't update the kernel or ROM yet.

yeah please let me know how this turns out i may have to add that warning to my thread so people know to make sure they have Cwm installed before they proceed. if this doesnt work for you we can try the full package DJ05 for odin , but you may need to reroot afterwards

Yep...a restore took care of it. So I had to reflash clockwork, then restore in Clockwork. Now I am updating my ROM to DJ05 Superclean then I'll restore my apps and data in Titanium.

Whew!

so when you say you restore what did you restore it back to DI01 and now you are starting over to DJ05, sorry i just want to be clear about the process so if it happens to someone else

Sorry to chime in. This sounds similar what happened to me. I flashed the modem then flashed the kernel.. when I tryed to get into recovery to flash the ROM it booted fully and I lost root, CWM Recovery, and Rom Manager were gone... It was acting like it was new right out of the box and needed to be fully reprogrammed. Lost all my user data.

I had to re-root, flash CWM via Odin and then Flash the ROM (DJ05). - reboot - Then I could get access to the market, to install the options for Ti Backup, and all the paid apps I had backed up. The Market links helped alot!

No...nandroid restore

I found the update.zip CWRecovery file and copied it to the root of my SD card. Rebooted into manual recovery, applied the update.zip to get into Clockwork recovery.

Then restored from backup in Clockwork, then rebooted and tested the phone.

So this is my first Titanium restore...should I do a restore on "missing apps with data" or "missing apps and all system data"?

I have only done TI once and it failed on me so im not sure, i would do apps and data.
