upgrade date move for d2?

has anyone been able to move their upgrade date to the d2 release date. just curious because vz moved mine for my x but i wasnt that far. my girlfriend isnt due till 2011 but we want to upgrade her to the d2 the lg env touch she has sux bad. also anyone hear of any promotions theyve got on the d2 i did hear briefly about them moving upgrade dates but i dunno never heard again.

I think if you're within 3 months of date, they'll move it for you if you ask nicely and get the right rep on the phone.

well they wouldnt move the upgrade date but is doing something called a manager approval something or other extending one of our contracts for 2 more years which doesnt bother me cause im not going anywhere. so i need to email the rep release day to complete the order.

Oh, and if you're wondering how on Earth you're going to swing this upgrade, Verizon's allowing any customer with a contract ending by December 31, 2010 to upgrade now (to any other smartphone, including the Droid 2) sans penalty. Sheesh guys, you shouldn't have!
