Upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3.4?

Just a quick ?... Is it possible to temp unroot w/Superuser to move from 2.2 back to 2.3.4 after rooting? Just noticed the option in the Superuser menu. Thanx in advance to whomever replies here. \m/ ( ' ' ) \m/
