Upgrade question(along with upcoming Fascinate launch)

So my brothers upgrade date is around the 22nd of this month and I heard the Fascinate will have a buy one get any 2nd phone free. Now I have an eris(sadly). If he buys the Fascinate and then gets the Droid X lets say, for free will I be able to use on the phones he bought or do the 2nd free phone have to be on contract?

its a BOGO not BOGA sale at this point. I belive the phone has to be on the same account but not sure call verizion.

Both phone lines have to be on the same account (or at least owned by the same person)

Both phones have to be signed up for new 2 year agreements with the data cost.

Remember, when you're talking cellphones, BOGO offers are always "With activation." they never sell the "free" phone just as a spare.

I read that the Fascinate was not getting the android stamp of approval on it why? Like the incredible or dx got , did they change their minds ,on that point?

It doesn't ship with Google apps (specifically search) instead, you're forced to use BING (microsoft) for search and no way to easily download the google alternative.

It also doesn't ship with Google maps and instead defaults to VZnavigator. While you can download google maps, it still requires some work to reset everything for maps.

On top of that, Samsung devices themselves have an issue with managing memory, so they are a lot laggier than they should be (and it's not touch wiz doing it) and samsung kinda has a crappy record when it comes to supporting phones past initial launch (though they are saying galaxys line will be different)
