Upgrade Question (Verizon)

My wife has a Droid DNA with unlimited data (we do not want her to lose her UDP). Her phone is staring to die and I want to get her a Nexus 6. I know I can go into a Verizon store and buy one out right and keep the unlimited data. I am totally fine doing that.

I saw on the Google store the Nexus 6 is cheaper than at Verizon. So here is the question

Could I buy one outright from the Google store and activate it without losing the UDP? If so is there anything special I need to do to make that happen? When I bough my Turbo I just bought the phone and activated it online with nothing special needed.

You should be able to get it from the play store, but you will need a sim card from Verizon. They will probably try to give you the runaround because of the UDP. They want people off those. But yeah, once you have the phone you just need to get them to setup a micro sim card, because it uses a smaller sim.

I bought mine from Motorola and had no problem using it on Verizon. I had the Droid Maxx HD and I simply put my SIM card in the Nexus, powered it up, and its been working flawlessly ever since.

It should be just like when you bought your Turbo. Nothing special is needed. Everything has been cleared up on Verizons end.
