OK, I'm gonna lay out my situation and my choices...please chime in with your opinion.
I'm still rocking the OG Droid (running CM6) mainly because there hasn't been much that really wowed me, but the old girl is starting to show her age.
I actually gave my last upgrade to my wife because nothing at that time was worth the upgrade.
Well, now her upgrade is coming up and the time has come to retire the old girl.
My options:
Galaxy Nexus
RAZR
Droid 4
Originally, I was all in for the GNex, but with reports of reception issues, especially in areas with spotty 4G coverage makes me re-think that, as I live in an area that is on the edge of 4G coverage...I really dont want to have a brick while I'm in my home.
The RAZR has now moved into the forefront...I know Mototrola's radios are top notch and should give me better reception over the GNex. The only question here is battery life. The price on the RAZR is amazing right now in my local Best Buy at $150. Can I survive on the battery in the RAZR, or should I spend the extra coin on the RAZR MAXX?
Then there is the release of the Droid 4...the tempting point here is the familiarity of the platform (coming from a Droid), but then I'm dealing with a smaller screen on a bigger phone. Plus it hasn't really been out long enough for any issues to REALLY surface yet.
Thoughts?
