Upgrade to new phone

Hi all
I'm still on my Galaxy S4 which has served me well but I've noticed that it's getting slow.

I'm looking at the Galaxy S8 and would like to know how much better is the camera on this phone compared to my S4?

I went the shops and was taking pictures with my S4 and the S8 and tbh I didn't see that much difference in the pictures I was thinking. In some cases I thought the S4 produced sharper pics.

Would be good to hear from any S8 (or S7 - same camera?) owners.

Well of course the pictures are better on the S7 and S8 but for a lot of people it won't make that much of a difference when you just look at it. If you don't think it looks much better then its obviously not really worth it for you

hey sdfuk,

well if you're just looking at a result of some random snap you took then maybe. but s8's cam got so much more like 4k recording, slo-mo support and whatnot. but again, if your use isn't anything more than taking a few snaps here and there, then don't invest too much on it. instead go for some mid-range phone, you might get a 12-13 mp camera over there anyways plus octa-core plus 3/4 gigs of RAM.
