As the title says, I want to upgrade from a Samsung Galaxy S6 (battery is slowly dying) sometime within the next few months. I'm looking at phones from straighttalks website as that is where I have my phone through currently. Was looking at a Samsung S10E Prism but the price jumped from about 35 monthly to 45. I'm also not entirely sure which one to go with now as I've seen off and on reviews about all the phones listed.

If anyone has suggestions, I'd appreciate it! I'd like to keep payments around 35 or lower, obviously prices will change between now and then but I'd like to get some suggestions early just in case I can catch a sale.

What's the total price for the S10e ?

That would be an insanely huge upgrade coming from an S6 that had terrible battery life to begin with.

Full price is 749 marked down to 600 (currently? says get this great deal now but nothing about how long it even lasts) on the Galaxy S10E Prism from their website. It used to be 35 a month and now currently sets at 45 a month. I have no idea if this went up due to shortages or when I was looking at it, it was on sale.

Don't pay a premium price if don't need to.
The economy has tanked. Phones sales are going down so except deals a plenty coming.
Watch and wait... and grab a good one.
Don't lock yourself into one model... maybe a model upgrade with a better price would make you happy?

The issue is more the OS, they have a S7 on the website I could get but it still has Marshmellow and I want a phone that lasts a while. I asked on reddit to see if StraightTalk worked with unlocked phones and if they'd update I got linked to a refurbished phone website and found a S9+ for 350 in mint condition that is unlocked. So I may be getting that phone instead, I will be keeping an eye on sales and stuff for a bit yet. My phone battery is not good anymore. I had it off charge for less than 3 hours (was close) and battery went down to 58%. I had lightly used Pokemon Go (got it the day I got my phone, so checked start date and caught a pokemon), checked into Jurassic World The Game and used Discord and Chrome for about 10 minutes. My phone should not be that low after maybe 30 minutes of total use.
