My GooBang Doo MX-III 4K box has been working well with Kodi v16.1 Jarvis. Recently some x265 video fails to play. Below are MediaInfo for files that play and don't play.

GooBang Doo support has provided me with a firmware update for this box from 2016 04 09 together with update guides and bootmaker.exe. The MX-III box OS is Android 4.4.2 Build MXIII v2.0.201511060840 Kernel 3.10.33.

When executing bootmaker no .bin file is found in the package supplied by GooBang Doo. Support seems unable to help with this missing file.
Online searches refer to two types, boot.bin and u-boot.bin, neither of which I seem to be able find to download.

My question is does someone know which is the correct .bin file and where to get it for flashing this device or am I flogging a dying horse?

Thanks for any help, John.

Where you get it would be from the manufacturer/ If they won't supply it (or don't know enough about a product they might just be selling - they aen't the manufacturer, maybe), there's nothing that anyone else can do.
