Hey guys! Thanks in advance for reading and taking the time to respond.

I just purchased a new 16GB Polaroid Class 2 microSD card for my phone. I was wondering if I could unmount my old 8GB card and copy everything to a temp location on my PC to copy back to my new card after a format. I'm just looking for the best way to do this.

Also, I am currently running ThundeROM 1.6.2 and I really want to try LegoRom (I have everything I need for it already downloaded). I'm wondering if I should just start fresh with the new card and LegoRom and then add back my apps, music, pics, etc.

Thanks again,
Kelly

It's easier than you think and you actually answered your own question :) Copy everything off the current 8gb SD card, Move it over to new card, pop into phone and mount.

If there's something on your SD card you don't want like something in the download folder or maybe you downloaded an app but have since deleted it and there's still a folder for it, delete the folder.

When my new card came in i just copied everything over and enjoyed. Nothing fancy nothing special.

If it was me I'd just format the sdcard and start from scratch I personally find it .....a new change of direction? Idk sometimes I just think its nice.

Edit:however I just flashed to miui and found myself without a txt reader to put in wifi password (I saved it as a txt file) after I deleted my TB. Before I flashed then I realized. Oh crap so then I had to switch sdcards reflash old rom wich. Had es file manager TB es file manager then switch sdcard back reflashed Miui then installed TB then restore es file manager load txt yaaay wifi,...........its nice to gave a. Clean slate but it wasn't worth it that's a hr. Ill never get back

Bro... you do realize this thread is from January ---2011---??? How did you even find this, and why reply to something so dated?
