Trying to make a decision here.
What are some things that we are gaining and losing by upgrading?
What are some things that we are gaining and losing by upgrading?
Losing the awesome cameras. Some durability.
Gaining extra under screen camera. Coolness factor, screen real estate. Portability.

Why would they make something like this and go backwards with the camera ??
Maybe because it is so expensive to make the Fold in the first place? Less capable cameras can keep the cost down.
I'm sure that once production costs come down and there is a proven customer base they will start putting better cameras in the Fold series.
I'm excited about the Fold, but not ready to jump yet with no dust intrusion protection. I'm worried that dust/dirt damage to the hinge may void warranty claims. I think I read somewhere in the forums that someone had a claim denied on Fold 2 because the issue was caused by abuse - dirt in the hinge
I don't see any gain I am not a foldable fan at all!
First off you need insurance with a foldable device and it's bulky to cart around. I carry a small tablet in my car when I need a bigger device.
It won't fit your pocket like the 21 does and if you add a case wow even bigger.
But if you really like the fold and need it go for it!!
Opinions are great for making personal choices. Therefore, I choose to make my choices based on my own opinion. I will concede that the fold is not for everyone and not everyone is ready for the fold. I wasn't ready for the first generation or the second generation but that didn't make it bad a bad choice for everyone. I'm hoping third time's a charm..All I can say, there's a lot of opinions from those that have not used it as a daily driver. But I also feel if you're buying a phone for a camera your going at a camera the wrong way.
