Upon connecting to Wi-Fi Google starts downloading files in com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox

[Android Central Question]

Whenever I connect my redmi 7a to my home Wi-Fi it automatically starts downloding files in Android/Data/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox/Files/pending_blob there are to many 5 mb files it just keeps on downloding until storage is full and even if I restrict background download it still continues to download. How to stop that

Can you turn permission off for storage?

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps, select the Google app, then clear cache/data, and force stop it. Now see if those files keep downloading
