So i just went to track my phone through UPS and it says this:
02/21/2022
12:28 A.M. Out for Delivery

I'm confused why the status says its out for delivery when its Midnight and UPS is closed? What does this mean?

The trucks are loaded at night.

Well that sucks when you live in a really cold city and your expensive device is just sitting on a loaded truck outside for hours i dont think that is acceptable!

These trucks go out for delivery as early as 4a-5a and you want them to wait until then to load the truck? That said, that time seems early - I feel that it wouldn't show that until the truck actually is ready to leave the depot. I usually see that message like from 4a-8a. It's fine. Why are you checking at this hour anyway? lol

This thread is ....really dumb. I don't understand the purpose of this post. Were you trying to track the status of your device literally up to the minute ?

I've left electronic devices sitting outside in my car in freezing weather for hours (or even overnight) without any problems. If you're that worried, just let the phone sit turned off & unplugged until it gets to room temperature after you receive it.

Have you never worked in retail? How do you think things get to you in the winter? They don't heat the trucks, literally every last phone, like every other product, arrives cold.

The trucks are actually inside. They are loaded inside and stay where they've been loaded until the morning when the driver arrives for work. I worked for UPS for 5 years at the Portland Hub.
