Urgent help needed

Till now i haven't faced any issues on my desire s, but today i faced a weird problem. I was normally using it when it got warm so i decided to restart it. After restarting i got the message "insert sim card". I have been trying to solve this issue from last 2-3 hrs but no luck till now. Plz help guys.:'(

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried removing your SIM card, and then reinserting it? If that doesn't work, you might have to talk to your wireless provider about a new SIM card.
