US Cellular 3G/4G Service outside of core network

I am looking for US Cellular customers who travel. I am looking for your service experience in the major urban areas like Chicago, NYC, San Francisco, LA, Miami, etc.... As many of these areas are their extended network coverage, what are your 3G experiences (since they have very limited 4G LTE at this time)?

Chicago is their home area so you would expect solid service there, but I have read otherwise.

I can say that being in Memphis with my phone was a terrible experience. Constantly roaming and having difficulty keeping a signal.

Not sure who I was connected to, but I could not wait for the trip to be over.

In Washington DC last summer, we had no problems.

New Orleans, Orlando, Destin have been fine as well.
