US Cellular Galaxy S3 Wifi Problem

My Wifi button will not turn on on my device...Please help, I can't connect to download anything.

The only thing I can think of is to clear the cache in your phone. To do that you power down, and reboot into recovery. To reboot into recovery you hold volume up, home and power at the same time. I find it easiest to hold the volume and home button before hitting power. Release when you see the Samsung logo. This will bring you to a menu with a highlited bar, and you use the volume rockers to navigate the menu. scrolll down to clear cache partition, and hit power to accept. You will have to scroll down a number of times to hit yes, but do so. It will wipe cache, taking about 15 to 30 seconds. By default, it will bring you back to the main page already highlighting reboot device. Hit power. See if that helps.

I just rooted my phone and now my wifi is not working. When I finished rooting, it did not allow me to to the tethering either, it reads error. Anyone think why? Do you think I should do a factory reset?

I ended up just flashing the old stock Android ROM on it, now it is fine. Needless to say, my phone is back to stock again.
