USA or International Version for Canada

Need some help buying a Samsung Active 2 Watch just the Bluetooth / WiFi one for a friend in Canada and I live in the USA. Am I ok buying the USA version or should I choose the international version? Maybe someone can explain the difference any help will be appreciated.
