USA software to UK software

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me, I purchased a Galaxy Tab 8.9 metallic grey version from the USA, however there are several apps that wont allow me to uninstall them, and there are also some apps that i know should work but won't.
I was wondering if there was any way to remove the USA version of the software and install the UK software?

There are 2 versions with different processors in the USA. Wifi version and a 4G LTE version sold by ATT. Be careful to be sure you get the software for your particular model it is not compatable one to the other.
