USB 12V Tablet Charger

Saw this link on Android Guys. Charge Your Phone and Tablet in the Car.

From the tiny print on my TF power brick it looks like it generates 2.1A, so this should work.

I have tried charging my T'Former off a 2.1 amp USB source and it won't. It won't even charge the dock with the tablet not connected. Apparently it really needs that USB3.0 15V input. 5V just doesn't cut it with my T'Former.

Good to know---I'll save my $$ until something better comes along.
