USB-C Fast Car Charger?

I used https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5369340, and will be returning it. My Note 7 doesn't display fast charging when using that charger's USB-C port, but it does support fast charging when using the red QC USB-A port.

Does anyone have any actual experience with USB-C car chargers? There are so many of them and it's unknown as to whether some properly support fast charging through the USB-C port.

I got this one from Verizon and it works fantastic. It has a coiled cord so beware of that.

Just use a QC2.0 car charger with an A to C cable. I don't think C to C will fast charge the note 7 (at least none of the C to C wall or car chargers I have for my nexus 5x will).

If that's the case, that would be really odd and disappointing. We'll never ditch USB-A like this.

I also purchased this Verizon wall charger and it fast charges the Note 7 fine and has a C to C cable.

I love type C, I hate that it's a crap shoot.

Even the C chargers Google ships with nexus 5x and 6p are non compliant and can burn your house down if you plug a compliant USB C 3.1 into it.

Update: Received this today. My Note 7 immediately reports fast charging. The charging ETA is the same as what the included Samsung wall charger says, so good to go.
