USB-C microphone distortion with S20U

I have S20 Ultra and I just got an RODE NT-USB Mini external USB-C microphone. When I try to record with it, the sound is very distorted. I tried with the original cam software, the original audio recorder and also downloaded and installed other apps that record sound. All fail. I tried the mic also with my S9 and MS Surface laptop and the sound is fine. Therefore it definitely is S20U problem. Anyone else had this kind of a problem?
