Android Central Question
For devices like the Samsung S8/S9, you can use a USB-C to HDMI adapter to mirror the phone screen on an external display.
Or, with a standard USB-C to USB-A cable, you can tether to a computer for data.
I have seen "docking station" type devices that have a USB-C connection to the phone, and then:
- USB-C for power only
- HDMI out
- USB-A for keyboard/mouse
My question is, would the USB-A port allow tethering to a computer, while simultaneously using the HDMI port to mirror the phone screen to a different device?
