USB-C to HDMI Adapter Cable.

I've been looking to purchase one of these adapters to display pictures and sound from my Nokia 7.2 on my TV.

The adapters I've checked out on eBay/Amazon seem to only be compatible with a limited number of phones, Samsung mainly.

Has anyone used these adapters on any other USB-C phones? i.e. are they generic to this scenario.

According to the following link, seems it isn't supported on the 7.2 unfortunately.

While USB C supports display out the hardware needs to support it as well. A lot of phones/tablets cannot output video over USB C unfortunately.
