Usb c to usb c not charging?

Ok so I have had this happen once before, but now it's permanent. So this is the deal. I have a pixel xl with o beta. The first time it happened was before o but I may have been n beta. Google gives you a usb c brick and 2 cables, Oh and an adaptor. I also have my son's pixel working just fine. So the only thing that doesn't work it my pixel xl charging usb c to use c.

So I have tried anything I can think of. Usb a to usb c, works. My son's pixel on my usb c to usb c, works. If I use the usb c to usb dongle to the usb a to usb c, works. So this is usb c to use c but thru a usb a to a connection. I even have a 3rd party usb c to c cable and that doesn't work. I even have a galaxy tab s3 and that works connected to my pixel charger but my phone doesn't.

I don't have any other usb c brick other then the 2 pixel ones.

Any suggestions? I could just keep charging usb a to c I have several bricks and adaptors like the one google gave me. I am not sure if it downgrades the charging speed for any of the adaptors or other methods.
