I want to charge the N7 by going into the female USB port on the OTG cable so I don't have to plug & unplug the micro on the N7.
The issue is I got a USB male-male cable here Amazon.com: SANOXY USB Type A Male / Type A Male Cable, 2.0 Version, Black, 6 ft: Computers & Accessories but it doesn't work for charging.
Is there an issue with my approach of using the OTG cable or might I just have a bad cable? Does the OTG cable preclude charging function? All my other USB cables have different connectors so I haven't found an application where I can test the cable.
Any help appreciated.
