USB Connected message status when no cables are connected?

I seem to be getting this status at random points. It's not too frequent, but it does get annoying as my sd card is constantly getting un/mounted, preventing me from accessing my media files.

Anyone know how to reset this bug?

i had the same thing, that and the car dock and home docks would constantly pop up. I called verizon and got a replacement. Havnt had any problems
