usb debugging not turning on

So I got my new play toy today and I can't get my computer to recognize that it's attached to my phone.

I went to settings, developer options and turned on developer options abs checked usb debugging and still nothing.

All help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try downloading updated Samsung drivers for your PC and installing them. I think you can get them from Samsung's site.

UPDATE: It recognized it after I plugged in the usb cable that came with the phone.
