usb drive not working help???

I hadn't download music on my phone in a while even before 2.2 but I just notice my phone is not connecting to my pc, I even check my settings n keep on changing it fr just charge to disk drive or HTC sync but nothing my computer doesn't ever read it all it does when I plug it in is charges my phone that's all I tried everything is there something else I have to do after the froyo update

Does your phone recognize the sd card? Try a different computer. Are you rooted?

If you have another USB cord, try it. I had the SAME problem and it drove me nuts. Turned out the USB wire that came with the phone was useless. I use my girls Blackberry one now.

No I'm not rooted n yes my phones recognizes the SD card cause I'm still able to download pics to it fr my messages or emails

Oh woow dude u were right, I switch cords fr my wifes epic n it works so now I wonder why bcause it still charges my phone
