Does anybody have a USB Hub that works with the Dex Station ... ? Reason I ask is that my Dex does not read Micro-SD Cards. So, I need a USB Hub that will allow the Dex to Read/Write Micro-SD Cards ..... I can only use USB Thumb Drives with my Dex (either S8 Plus or Note 8, same issue).

Have you plugged a micro-SD card into a USB adapter, then plugged that into a USB port on the Dex? That's how it's normally done on any device other than internally in a phone (or in a microUSB-to-microSD adapter, which is the same sort of thing I'm talking about, but with a microUSB port instead of a Type A port).

I finally found a USB Hub that works with Dex Station ... BUT ... it will only support USB Thumb Drives and my mouse, NOT my Samsung Hard Drive.

So, for now ... the only way that I can connect both my Samsung Hard Drive and USB Thumbs for transferring files back and forth is to connect my HD and USB Thumb Drives to my Note 4.

As a temporary solution for transferring lots of files to and from my Note 8 while connected to Dex ... Use three 256GB USB Thumb Drives connected to Dex via my "UGreen" USB Hub, which has four USB ports. Hopefully .... somebody will make a Hub for Dex that is compatible with Hard Drives .....

Actually a lot of USB HUBS are OK..but you need a hub that has it's own power supply. Not just those that plugs only the USB in and or out ONLY..You need one of those that has a power plug & cord with it also. Had this problem years ago first trying to use multi USB devices in the WINDOWS 98 FIRST EDITION erra.

Speaking of wich also phones or ANDROID use YAFFS2 but compatable with old PC format FAT32. Todays computers use NTFS. So most likely that is why even your DATA cannot be read. You think is't your USB HUB but actually it's more extent then that..things are filed certain ways..so systems can read..write...file & work with them. So you have DATA saved but you think not..only because it can't be read.

I have found this out by trying to look with in an old COMPUTER EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE. This hard drive is formated as NTFS & had 2 USB 2.0 Connectors. When I tried to connected it I couldn't as DEX has only 2 usb ports & 1 is supporing my keyboard with touch pad. So the other port had my POWERED 7 PORT USB HUB. I needed also needed a total of 3 programs to see & use my DATA on my hard drive. A program to read different formats..a program to controll that data & a program to read my files wich was compressed movies wich is aMULTI MEDIA PLAYER
