USB not working in vehicle

I have updated to lollipop and my note 4 still doesn't work in my 2012 silverado via USB. Is there any setting I am missing or did the update still not allow it to play via USB like the iPhone?

Some stereos won't work with USB, I know my alpine won't, It's designed for iDevices
