Usb on the go issue....

When i connect usb on the go adapter with pen drive, its working fine when i eject it safely and plug in charger. But when i connect mouse or keyboard, in my case i was using logitech wireless mouse and keyboard cy connecting the dongle to the phone through usb on the go, there is no safely remove option under notification drop down and when i eject it and re plug the charger the phone is not getting charged or the phone is not detecting a charger attached unless i restart the phone. Please help me
