USB OTG Issue

Newbie on these forums and hopefully someone can help. When I connect my Sandisk 64gb USB OTG flash drive my Samsung music and photo app doesn't seem to be reading from it as I can't see the photos or play any music I have on it. My Note 5 is the Aussie 32g version so I got the flash drive to store my music and photos on.. Am I doing something wrong.??

I can play music by opening My Files and Opening the USB Storage XXX folder after I have downloaded the music to the Sandisk 64GB OTG. I didn't try photos but I would guess it would work the same.
But like you I can't get the OEM music player, Amazon Prime player or Google Music player to locate the Sandisk 64GM OTG storage.

Thanks Beh, I've since downloaded Quikpic and power amp..they seem to work a treat..shame the OEM stuff to won't work..

VLC for Android seems to work fine
