USB plug, my only complaint

I just got my Captivate a couple days ago, which I love, and I only have one real complaint, the USB plug will hardly stay in. With just the slightest movement with it plugged in it will come out.
I bought a BodyGlove case from the at&t store and its great, except it made it worse. It wouldn't even plug it until I actually cut some of the material of the case away so the plug would get down into the port. Even then it will come out if moved at all. So I have to take the case of to be able to use it will plugged in.
Do any of you know if there is a microUSB plug that would work better than the stock, I bought a cheap blackberry plug, to go in my car, that I had to whittle away some of the plastic around the plug so it would plug in, I would like another cable but want one that actually will stay plugged in.

Try making sure the USB door is completely open. I have the BodyGlove case on my phone and no issues at all. I even use Mini USB to Micro USB adapters by Motorola in my car for my RIM car charger and at work since I am using the rim usb cable. Zero Problems at all with either solution!

Cheers,
Charlie

x2. OP this 'problem' has been posted many times before. Almost every time the poster responded with "oops, its fine now" after making sure the door was completely open. The door will kind of click all the way to the side.

Yeah I actually find my usb plug a bit too snug - it is hard to plug in always and sometimes even hard to unplug. But my biggest complaint about it is it is "upside down". MOST usb plugs you orient the plug with the design facing you - but not on the Captivate, you have to orient the image away from you.

I agree with the other posters. I have the same BodyGlove case and if you slide the USB door all the way open the plug stays in ok. It kinda catches at about 3/4 open but the you click it and it opens full.

I had this same issue the first time I plugged in...just didn't have the door clicked all the way open. Like the others I have the same phone case with no issues.

Hehe I too had this "problem" until I realized I didn't have the door open all the way!

My biggest problem w/ the phone is the placement of the USB connection. It feels weird being on the top!

Yeah the door not open all the way was the problem, but the Blackberry plug still wouldn't if I wouldn't have cut away some of the plastic around the tip, but thats because its for a BB were the USB is in a different place that is I guess less recessed into the phone.
