Is there any way to hook up the phone and have it play in a car though my car USB port? I have cm7. Can't find any sync options under settings.

I don't think the audio is wired to play out of the USB plug...are you talking about your car letting you sync music and stuff with that Windows car stuff just like you're plugged into a computer? I've seen it in a couple of rental's I've had recently but since I don't have a Windows phone I've never messed with it.

You could get an FM transmitter that plugs into the mini-jack plug for your headset and then transmits through the car stereo on what ever freq you've programmed into it. It works fairly well though the Belkin one that I own can get pretty staticy even though its not competing with any other radio station for the freq. Its not perfect but it gets the job done and its portable to any car your driving.

Wanda is right, the Dinc cannot play music directly from the USB port. Auxiliary/car charger will be the best way to go. That is how I have mine set up right now. That way I can stream my Google Music library in the car and not have to worry about losing battery :)

Actually, with some of the newer head units with USB ports they will play MP3's off a straight USB stick, and the Ford Sync it can read like a USB stick.

Try plugging it in and mount like a disk drive. It should read music on the SD or the internal. I set up a USB Stick for my Dad on a Ford with the Sync, because an iPod would be way too complicated. Works OK and it was simple.

If it does not work let us know. I'm curious.
