Use Google Wallet Prepaid Card as online debit card

Hey all

quick question: Is is possible to use the Google Wallet prepaid card online as a regular debit card for purchases, or does it only work for Paypass merchants where I have to be at the store in person and touch the phone to the machine? I loaded up $100 plus the $10 that came free onto the prepaid card, assuming that I could use it at least on websites that use Google Checkout, if not as a fully functional (virtual) debit card, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Can anybody shed light on the issue?

I know you can use it a certain places online, but I don't think it's a simple as using it as a regular debit card. If you go here they list specific merchants. Google Wallet - where it works

If anyone know of another way to use it, please share.
