Use of downloaded icon packs?

Hi.
In order to use icons from downloaded packs, do you have to use a different launcher to use them and can you use only certain ones or does it import all from that pack?

Yes unless you download the icon packs via galaxy app store.

AFIK, you can't use icons from multiple sources/icon packs with Samsung's TouchWiz. Some third-party launchers will let you do it though. I can do it with Nova Launcher and Action Launcher 3. Those launchers will let you choose from multiple sources or icon packs, and also let you create your own from a GIF, JPG, or PNG file.

You can use icon packs downloaded from the Play Store with Touchwiz by using an app like Aycon or Awesome Icons. Those apps will let you change the icons on the home screens. They let you change icons one by one.

Thats true and I've used apps like that before however just be aware that you have to change one icon at a time and it can be extremely tedious, unfortunately. . Just saying.

The icons from the Galaxy Apps store are getting better and better, especially the free ones. Give that a try and see how it goes if you want to stay with the OEM launcher.
