Android Central Question
I want to root my S7 and be able to use Samsung Pay.
Will Knox be irreversibly tripped if I root? I'm confused because some sites are saying it's only Exynos S7s whose Knox is irreversible. Which root method do I use to preserve Knox on a non-Exynos S7? I prefer Magisk but am willing to try others.
Phone details:
Model: originally SM-G930A, now showing G930T
SoC: Snapdragon
Android version: 7.0
Baseband version: G930TUVS4BRC1
Android security patch level: April 1, 2018
Knox version: 2.7.1
