Use Verizon DROID X on Alltel

I'm going to upgrade from my DROID X very soon and wanted to give it to my roommate, but she's on Alltel. For text and voice minute usage, Verizon counts us as on the same network, but what about actual devices?

Haven't been able to find any definitive answer if the phone will work on her network. Maybe it will come down to a call to Alltel.

Can't be used on altell even tho Verizon owns some of altell . They both are CDMA but the phones are not compatible between both
