used samsung note 2 charger on an htc one

the htc one worked fine and was charging but now all the sudden wont turn back on.

I have used numerous chargers on my device, raningfrom 750mA motorola chargers to 2A blackberry and Note 2/3 chargers with no issues.

Do you have another charger to test with?
have you tried holding down the power button for 20 seconds?
